The SEAWORK Fish Processors (Pty) Ltd is a company based in Walvis Bay, Namibia, specializing in the catching, value adding and marketing of frozen seafood products in the international market.
Two production facilities, supplied by five trawlers, enable us to guarantee our customers a continuous source of high quality, wild caught seafood products.
The main product lines are derived from Hake ( Merluccius capensis / Merluccius paradoxus).
By catches like Kingklip ( Genypterus capensis ) and Monk fish ( Lophius vomerinus ) are also caught and processed.
We pride ourselves as being a customer orientated processor, allowing the customer to play an active part in the development of their own product range.
The company is owner managed and all shareholders are Namibian born citizens.
The company employs 1500 fulltime Namibian employees.
Seawork catches and procures approximately 22 000 tons of whole round hake per annum.
The daily production capacity is approximately 55 000 kg of finished product.
The two production plants cover ± 17000 m²
The ice plant has a capacity of producing 110 tons a day
EU-compliant fleet, factory, ice-plants and cold stores.
